What will the Commissioner do?
Depending on what is appropriate, the Commissioner may:

take steps to resolve the complaint;

refer the matter back to the government institution;

investigate;
-
choose not to investigate;
-
discontinue our investigation, if already started; or
-
refer a matter to another oversight body such as:
-
the Provincial Auditor;
-
the Ombudsman;
-
the Conflict of Interest Commissioner; or
-
the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
